Keep Food Fresh

Waste Less. Live Better.

You know what?

According to U.S. EPA estimates, plastic bags, sacks, and wraps generate approximately 4.2 million tons of waste in the United States each year.

This Is Not Its Home

What should be water and life has become a trap of plastic, waste, and human neglect.

This Is Not Its Home

What should be water and life has become a trap of plastic, waste, and human neglect.

Single-use plastic bags may seem convenient for a moment, but their environmental impact can last for decades.

Most are used for only a few minutes before being thrown away, yet they often remain in the environment for years. Because they are lightweight and easily carried by wind or water, plastic bags can quickly escape landfills and trash bins, ending up in streets, rivers, coastlines, and eventually the ocean.

Once there, they pose a serious threat to marine life and wildlife. Sea turtles, fish, seabirds, and other animals can mistake plastic bags for food or become entangled in them, often with fatal consequences. Over time, these bags also break down into smaller plastic particles rather than fully disappearing, contributing to long-term plastic pollution in ecosystems.

Single-use plastic bags also encourage a throwaway habit—one that increases waste, burdens waste management systems, and adds to the growing global plastic crisis.

Reducing our dependence on disposable plastic bags is one small but meaningful step toward protecting our oceans, preserving wildlife, and creating a cleaner future for the next generation.
